About Dalan Hargrave
Texas Hill Country native Dalan Hargrave has been a career goldsmith and lapidary since 1976. Over his 50 year career, he has received more than 90 awards of recognition for both lapidary and jewelry from prestigious organizations such as theAmerican Gem Trade Association,The Gemmys, sponsored byLapidary Journal, and the National Rockhound/Lapidary Hall of Fame. His artistically carved gemstones are regularly featured in the work of award-winning designers, while his unique and often whimsical sculptural work is sought after by private collectors around the world. He says, “It’s my goal to take the natural beauty of each gemstone and through artistic expression and innovative optical techniques, transform it into a work of art.”
