Beginner's Series: The Simple Pendant ONLINE

If you are just starting out as a beginner working in a home studio, this workshop is for you! Join resident metalsmith Francesca Watson for a fun, two-day project that will introduce you to bezel creation, working with wire and sheet, and the basics of setting a cabochon. We'll also practice the fundamental skill of using a jeweler's saw and mark-making with simple stamps! Along the way, we'll discuss the properties of sterling silver; why flux is important and which ones work best for silver; how to get a professional finish on your piece; and much more.
