There’s something magical about jewelry that moves—pieces that catch the light, shift with your body, and seem to come alive in the air around you.

This October, join internationally celebrated found-object jeweler Keith LoBue for a three-day workshop exploring the art of the wearable mobile. Drawing on a lifetime of jewelry making, decades of teaching, and over fifteen years of mobile-making experimentation, Keith will guide you through the process of creating intricate, kinetic sculptures designed to be worn.

Working with simple tools and approachable techniques, you’ll combine found materials, wire, sheet metal, and more to craft pieces that dance, spin, and delight—activated by your movement and the very air itself.

Whether you’re a seasoned maker or have never picked up a jeweler’s saw, this workshop is for you. Keith’s playful, encouraging approach will help you transform everyday materials into objects of whimsy, wonder, and wanderlust—with your own body as the canvas.

You'll have access to all tools and equipment in the studio, and an assortment of essential materials to work with. Bring your most loved small-scale found objects, including paper, fabric, beads, photos, and ephemera - anything you love that might find their way into wearable creations!
